The Mount Clemens Figure Skating Club (MCFSC)
The Mount Clemens Ice Arena is the home of the Mount Clemens Figure Skating Club (MCFSC). The MCFSC is a member club of United States Figure Skating (USFS). MCFSC attained their membership in 2002. They are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. They have approximately 70 members.
The MCFSC was formed to encourage the instruction, practice and advancement of its members in any an all disciplines of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a spirit of fraternal feeling among ice skaters; and to carry out the general policies and objectives of U.S. Figure Skating.
Being a member of MCFSC has many great privileges including your individual USFS membership, a monthly subscription to Skating Magazine, the opportunity to test and compete in USFS. MCFSC also hosts parties, fundraisers and an annual awards banquet for its members. Skating members of the MCFSC are given solos, duets or trios in the Mount Clemens Ice Arena’s Annual Spring Skating Show.
